One day, on the underground, an ordinary man, reading his newspaper like everyone else, learns that two students have just been imprisoned. Their crime: drinking a toast to freedom. Suddenly this man stops being ordinary: he reacts and founds Amnesty International. His name is Peter Benenson. Thanks to him, millions of us have been able to stop being ordinary, and to be like Peter Benenson, people who react. Because of this it has become more and more difficult to prevent anyone anywhere from drinking a toast to freedom.
