She devotes her whole life to promoting a new ecological ethic: she looks on our planet as if it were one of her own children. And she teaches it to take care, improves it by her love; she tries to make it wiser, calmer, lovelier. With a true passion for the origins of life, a rigorous scientific mind and remarkable tenderness. She was voted Woman of Europe, but could just as easily have been awarded the title Earth Mother. |
