
| He was a Jesuit priest living among the poor. On occasion he was known to stand up to the police to protect the people in his neighbourhood. He worked with his own hands on the building sites. Three generations of Spain's urban poor felt the benefit of his guidance in the education of their hearts and minds. Then, quite recently, he was summoned by his Father on high. Being a man in a hurry, José Maria Llanos had had time to do much good before leaving us. |
