Unchallenged queen of the Parisian variety show and at the same time a tireless campaigner against the most insidious and most disturbing threat we face as we approach the turn of the century. Her association Artists against Aids has already collected over twenty million francs for the researchers at the Institut Pasteur. Amid the sequins and the popular tunes there are hearts as big as a house. |
