| Selflessness and an enterprising spirit are not mutually exclusive. Far from it. In order to help thousands of destitute and homeless people, Sister Stanislaus Kennedy has built up an enormous organization. She helps the homeless find a place to live, settle down, find a job, claim their rights, and raise their children. She provides for those who have abandoned or lost everything they had. She puts their case to the authorities, helps the authorities to understand their plight, to grasp the seriousness and urgency of it all. She has decided that everyone in Ireland, her own country, should have a home to go to, without exception. |
